Founder, One Tile

One Tile started with a layoff, one evening, and an idea: what if strangers made a piece of art together?

Everyone brings one photo. Every photo becomes a tiny part of a bigger, unpredictable picture. You don’t need to be an artist. You just need something you want to put on the wall.

The next chapter is a planned 12 × 12-foot print in a Wynwood gallery during Miami art week in December 2026. A digital project you can walk up to, lean into, and find yourself in.

The exhibition is a project goal, not a guaranteed part of your purchase. One Tile is an independent project.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING

Small square.
Fair questions.

What exactly am I paying for?

A permanent photo tile on One Tile’s public digital mural. The $9.99 option also adds an external link visitors can open from your tile. Both are one-time purchases.

Can I see my photo before I pay?

Yes. Choose a photo, preview its square crop, and see it alongside other tiles before checkout. No account is needed. Your photo is checked before payment. You’ll pay securely through Stripe.

What can I link to for $9.99?

Your portfolio, shop, social profile, project, or another public webpage. The link is attached to your digital tile; it is not a printed QR code. A tile does not guarantee traffic or sales.

Will my photo be in the Miami exhibition?

The goal is to include the mural in a 12 × 12-foot print at a Wynwood gallery during Miami art week in December 2026. Your purchase is for a digital tile. The exhibition is planned and is not guaranteed by the current terms.

Can I change my photo or get a refund?

Tiles are intended to stay as placed. Purchases are final, with exceptions for duplicate charges, a paid tile we cannot deliver, and your legal rights. Check your photo and link carefully before paying. See the current terms for details.

What photos are allowed?

Use a photo you own or have permission to share publicly. Uploads are moderated. Illegal content, nudity, graphic violence, hate, harassment, and rights-infringing content are not allowed.

Terms of Service

Effective September 15, 2026 · KCO Partners LLC

Your tile

One Tile is operated by KCO Partners LLC. A photo tile costs $1.99 USD; a photo with a clickable external link costs $9.99 USD. Both are one-time purchases of a place on our public digital mural. Your tile is published after the image is approved and payment is confirmed. An unpaid preview does not reserve a square. A link does not guarantee visitors, sales, or continued availability of the linked website.

Permanence, changes, and refunds

Tiles are intended to remain on the mural for the life of the project. Please check your crop and link before paying; routine photo replacements, reassignment, or edits are not included. Purchases are final except for duplicate charges, a paid tile we cannot deliver, or where required by law. For a payment issue, removal request, or concern about someone's rights or safety, contact onetile2026@gmail.com. We may hide or remove content that violates these terms or applicable law. A voluntary removal request does not itself create a right to a refund. Nothing in these terms limits rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Your content and permission

You retain ownership of your photo. You must own it or have permission to share it publicly, including appropriate permission from people shown. By submitting a photo, you allow us and our service providers to process it for moderation and checkout. When you purchase a tile, you grant One Tile a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, crop, and display the photo as part of the digital mural and prints or exhibitions of the mural, for the life of the project. This permission does not transfer ownership of your photo.

Do not submit illegal content, nudity or sexually explicit material, graphic violence, hate or harassment, private information without permission, or content that infringes someone else's rights. These rules also apply to linked destinations. Automated screening is imperfect; we may review or remove content later and may reject unsafe links. Do not interfere with the site, payment process, or another person's tile.

The exhibition goal

We aim to exhibit a 12 × 12-foot print of the mural at a Wynwood gallery during Miami art week in December 2026. Plans may change. Your purchase is for the digital tile and does not guarantee a physical exhibition, admission, a printed copy, or ownership of a physical artwork. One Tile is an independent project and is not presented as an official Art Basel event.

Availability and changes

We intend to maintain the mural long term, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. We may update these terms for future purchases and will identify the effective date. Material changes do not retroactively remove rights attached to earlier purchases. Contact: onetile2026@gmail.com.

Privacy Policy

Effective September 15, 2026 · KCO Partners LLC

What we collect and when

One Tile, operated by KCO Partners LLC, processes information needed to operate the mural, moderate uploads, confirm payment, recover purchases, provide support, and protect the service.

Choosing and cropping a photo creates a preview in your browser. When you continue to checkout, we receive the processed photo, your selected plan and optional link, and information needed to connect the upload to your browser. We check the photo before payment. Approved, paid photos and their optional links become public. We also preserve historical tiles, including owner-seeded and manually restored tiles.

Stripe handles card entry and payments. We retain payment status, transaction references, the price, the tile association, and the checkout email needed for receipts and recovery. We do not store card numbers. Support messages and previously subscribed email addresses may also be retained. The replacement checkout does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

Public and private information

Published photos, tile numbers, and optional links are visible to everyone. Visitors can share tile links, and third parties may copy public content. Avoid photos containing information you do not want public. Your checkout email, payment references, recovery links, and moderation records are not included in the public mural data.

Service providers

We use Vercel for the application, Neon for database records, Cloudflare for image storage and site/admin security, Google Cloud Vision for automated image screening, Stripe for payments, and Resend for transactional emails. Support email is handled through Gmail. These providers process the information needed for their services, which may involve processing outside your country. Google Fonts may receive ordinary connection information when your browser loads the site's fonts. Provider privacy policies also apply to their own services.

Cookies, security, and sharing

We use a necessary browser cookie to associate you with an upload and purchase. We use limited security and operational records, including hashed rate-limit identifiers; hosting and security providers may process IP addresses and request logs. Admin access uses separate authentication controls. Sharing buttons open the social service you choose; that service then handles your interaction under its own policies. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Retention

Published photos and links are intended to remain for the life of the mural, subject to removal requests, moderation, and legal obligations. We schedule abandoned unpaid image files for deletion after 30 days once checkout has expired and the image is not reserved or published. Pending payments and published tiles, including temporarily hidden tiles, are excluded from this cleanup. Associated payment, security, moderation, and support records may be retained as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Restricted backups and migration archives may retain records beyond removal from the live site.

Your requests

Email onetile2026@gmail.com to request access, correction, deletion, removal of a photo, or withdrawal from previously requested updates. We may ask for information to verify that you are entitled to make the request. We honor applicable privacy rights; some records may need to be retained for legal, payment, security, or dispute purposes. We cannot recall copies of public photos already saved or shared by others.

The service is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information directly if you are under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information without appropriate permission. We will identify the effective date when updating this policy and provide notice of material changes where required.
